The 2022 vintage produced some amazing Barbera in El Dorado County and for the second year in a row, we did not blend any other varietals into the wine. What is unique about this vintage is we combined fruit produced from two different vineyards that each offered different qualities that produced a stunning flavor profile. Rich, vibrant cherry flavors greet the palate along with hints of anise and vanilla. Consider this wine your Swiss Army knife for pairing with food. Blue Cheese is a can’t miss along with marinara pasta dishes, rich meats and wild game.
